Hitman Absolution Introduction
Hitman Absolution Play Hitman Absolution on Android as Agent 47. Complete mission objectives your way—stealth, disguises, and Instinct—or go loud with weapons. Unlock Contracts to craft and share missions.
Hitman Absolution
Hitman Absolution is a thrilling action–stealth game where you step into the shoes of Agent 47. Accept contracts, show off your intelligence and precision, and push the story forward while unlocking even more entertaining gameplay. Throughout your missions, you’ll have access to a range of weapons—both melee and ranged—such as bricks, pistols, sniper rifles, and shotguns.
You can clear objectives in more than one way: stay hidden and play it smart, or go loud and enjoy the chaos. As you progress, Contracts mode becomes available, letting you design your own missions and levels and share them with the community. You can also pick up contracts created by other players.
Gameplay Overview
In Hitman Absolution, you control Agent 47 in a third-person stealth experience. The core gameplay revolves around completing objectives across a set of levels. Tasks can be as simple as reaching the end of an area—or as direct as eliminating specific targets.
Each mission offers multiple routes. You’re free to choose your approach, whether that means taking alternate paths to targets and key locations, or adapting mid-mission based on how the area changes.
Ways to Handle Missions
- Action approach: Use weapons such as pistols, bottles, bricks, assault rifles, sniper rifles, shotguns, the fiber-wire, or steel pipes.
- Stealth approach: Avoid enemies by wearing disguises, blending into the environment, and attacking only the targets you’re assigned to.
- Instinct ability: Use Instinct to track enemies more easily.
Environmental Takedowns and Distractions

Beyond weapons, the world itself can be part of the plan. You can distract or harm enemies using things like:

- Poisoning coffee
- Pulling a switch to drop and break a disco ball
- Triggering a major blast at a gas station
- Pulling levers to make scaffolding fall
- Starting small or large fires
- Setting off fireworks

Story Progression
To move forward, you’ll need to complete a series of chapters. The journey takes you through a variety of locations, including a mansion, library, strip club, gun store, wrestling arena, courthouse, and hotel, before reaching the end of the game.

Useful Tips
Don’t Panic
The best stealth players stay calm. Even with the new Instinct ability helping you read the situation, the key is not to panic. If guards begin noticing you, there’s usually a window before it becomes a full alert—shown by an on-screen suspicion meter.
When the meter starts rising, don’t automatically burn your stealth tools right away. Sometimes a simple action—like moving around a corner or turning so the guard can’t clearly see your face—is enough to reduce suspicion. Also, blending into a crowd of civilians can help, as long as you don’t ruin it by sprinting off or pulling out a weapon.
Don’t Kill—At Least, Not Too Much
Unlike many action games, your score rewards restraint in Absolution. You actually lose points for killing non-target enemies. Using the subdue move (taking an enemy down from behind while unarmed) helps you avoid harsher penalties, and knocking out an NPC with the right timing can be forgiven if you hide the body.
If you ever reach a moment where you must deal with a whole room of guards, use Point Shooting. It slows time so you can tag multiple enemies at once—then Agent 47 handles the rest after you commit to your shots. You can also reduce some of the score loss by eliminating enemies with well-placed headshots.
