To get back to his former physical peak, you’ll travel to Zippyzinc Island and track down the technology behind his sudden possibilities.

On the island, you’ll meet striking women with distinct personalities, each carrying their own goals and secrets. Through key choice points during story events, you’ll work to earn their trust—and build rehabilitation training plans to restore your strength. As the story unfolds, your bond with your favorites deepens, unlocking more intimate animations based on how you interact with them.

• Face tough rehab mini-games, handle chronic pain, and learn the prototype’s unstable upgrades.



• Every win moves you closer to the cliffs—while every loss can lead to permanent nerve damage or a dangerous dependence on the tech.
• Use the interface to simulate climbs, but glitches will distort the path, forcing you to adjust in real time.
• Go too hard and temporary boosts can flip into crippling debuffs, affecting both what you say and how the town views you.
• Search for rare batteries to power the device, or risk black-market deals that may cost you supporters’ respect.

Confront a Town of Shadows

• The town’s support isn’t guaranteed. Earn trust by coaching local youth—or use their admiration to fund your experiments.
• Every connection can hide an agenda: some want to profit from your technology, while others may try to sabotage it.
• Dynamic NPC Alliances: Help a retired coach rebuild his gym to unlock high-end gear, but you’ll lose favor with anti-tech activists.
• Rumor System: Gossip spreads depending on your choices, unlocking special opportunities—or leading to hostile encounters.
• Betrayal Triggers: If you rely on enhancements too publicly, “allies” might leak footage, launching corporate espionage plotlines.

Moral Crossroads

• The prototype’s creator wants strict secrecy, while your sponsors demand something PR-friendly and miraculous.
• Decide how far you’ll go: will you push past ethical limits and risk your body for record-breaking climbs, or protect your humanity for a quieter redemption?
• Dual Morality Meters: Track Ambition versus Integrity. These stats influence endings and which gear you can access.
• Temptation Events: Take bribes to endorse unsafe upgrade paths—or report them and lose funding.
• Flashback Dilemmas: Revisit your accident with altered decisions, showing how small regrets fueled your obsession.

Changelog / Season 2 Update

I’ve been planning this announcement for a full year, but I didn’t want to post it until the entire script was ready.

The complete script for Matrix Hearts Season 2 is finished—and it’s been reviewed to ensure, especially regarding what happened originally with Chapter 4, that it’s delivering the experience Matrix Hearts was meant to be: the same vibe, and the characters you’ve come to love.

Writing, editing, and everything else took time. It usually takes a little more than a month to write and program an entire chapter. For most of the year, I’ve been working full speed while also building a release schedule, so I’m currently ahead of plan instead of falling behind.

This approach is meant to prevent further delays once chapter releases begin—something I previously struggled with in Maelstrom.

Chapter 4: Rising Waves

Main Routes

• Night mission with Rylee and Chrysta.
• A major interaction with Stormy that advances the main story.



• A night with Stormy on her boat.
• The start of the steps needed to address Layla.
• Gemma’s party—either to celebrate you joining the team or to celebrate your presence at Coconut Academy.
• The Mysterious Girl returns… but for what reason? Only time will tell.

Side Routes

• If your affection with Gemma is high, you’ll get an extra scene. The same applies if you joined her team.
• Other women who were involved earlier in the story may appear at the party—the exact people depend on the choices you’ve made.
• Olivia will make an appearance.

Chapter 5: New Normal

Main Routes

• A major interaction with Rylee about what happened during the night mission.
• An academy night scene with Xi. This ties directly into what work you need to complete at Coconut Academy depending on whether you saved Xia from the principal. You’ll either see the principal’s first major scene, or a different scene with Xia.
• Layla is ready to forgive you… or not. After a week of normal island life, you’ll get a choice of what to do next—this is a major Layla route.
• A docks scene based on the night mission. Who shows up depends on the big choices made at the start of Chapter 4 and the beginning of Chapter 5.

Side Routes

• If you made the right decisions at the party, there’s an extra town scene featuring two new characters.
• An optional Olivia scene based on romance-related metrics.
• A brief scene with Dutch.
