Dawnlands is an action-adventure game set in a world overrun by dark forces. To stay alive, you’ll need to gather resources, create useful items, and push back threats as you explore. The controls are straightforward: use the left side to move and the right side to perform actions. All buttons are clearly placed so you can focus on the adventure.

The world is packed with different landscapes—forests, open areas, and more—plus ruins to uncover. You’ll also find 100+ building types and materials, letting you form a base that supports your exploration. The game includes multiplayer, so you can bring friends along and explore this unknown land together.

Gameplay

Expect a visually impressive experience with a style similar to popular action-adventure titles such as Genshin Impact. Early on, your character has fewer interactive options, but as you finish the opening challenges, you’ll unlock your first set of weapons and tools—gear you’ll rely on throughout later gameplay.

At first, the setting may feel peaceful, almost like a paradise island. Soon, though, you’ll see that sinister forces are causing trouble everywhere. From the first level, you’ll need to collect wood to craft an axe so you can cut down ancient trees. You’ll also gather raspberries and other food to restore energy and keep moving.

Every element of Dawnlands is built to pull you into an evolving story, with progression that unfolds as you explore, craft, and fight.

Compared with similar games, the control approach isn’t especially complex. To move your character, tap the direction keys on the left side of the screen. Action controls sit on the right side and are used for attacking, jumping, and picking up items.

  You can use 100+ building types and customization materials to shape your base your way. Lay floors, reshape the terrain, and create a sanctuary suited to your playstyle. As your progress continues, you’ll unlock recipes for weapons, clothing, and tools that improve both exploration and combat.



• Four-player co-op support

  Co-op lets up to four players share the same world. Join friends via the in-game friends system or by using an invitation code. If you want to connect quickly with new teammates, the recommended world option helps you jump into active communities and find regular partners.

  

• Follow the story’s direction and watch the land awaken

  Your actions fit into a clear objective-driven narrative. As a chosen warrior, you’ll awaken an ancient kingdom and help write a new chapter by completing quests, visiting key locations, and preparing for nightfall. Building, crafting, and combat all work together, so each task plays a role in restoring the world.
