Florr.io Introduction

Florr.io Florr.io is a survival action RPG where you become a flower, attack and defend with rotating petals, defeat monsters for petal drops, evolve stronger builds, and explore changing biomes with portals.

Florr.io

Florr.io is a lighthearted survival RPG where you play as a living flower. You roam the map, then use the controls to attack or defend. By defeating randomly generated monsters, you collect petals—and those petals help you grow stronger and evolve.

Higher-level play means better rewards. Tougher monsters drop more valuable petals, while you can also combine lower-tier petals to craft upgraded versions. As your power increases, you’ll face even stronger enemies, and bringing them down grants more distinctive items that keep the loop interesting.

How the game plays

Florr.io follows an RPG-style format built around using petals around your character to handle combat. Petals help you attack and eliminate mobs, strengthen or mount dropped petals, and explore different biomes.

Mini-map and movement

  • When you start, a mini-map appears in the top-right of the screen.
  • You can expand or shrink the mini-map by hovering your mouse or pressing the M key.
  • The yellow dot marks your position.
  • The blue dot shows the portal.
  • The pink dot indicates your position when you’re in the same squad.

Take a portal to travel to another map. Each map differs in the types of mobs you’ll find. For helpful reference, players often consult unofficial community data such as “NAUTICAL.Unofficial Super Petal” and rare petal information.

Controls: attack and defend

  • Attack: Left Click or Space Bar
  • Defend: Right Click or Shift

During attacks, your petal(s) rotate at a wider radius around your character. During defense, they rotate closer. Some petals—such as Web and Missile—have special effects that change how they behave while attacking or defending.

Petal drop rule (important): to receive petal drops, you generally need to deal more than 5% damage of the target’s maximum health. Also, drops are limited—particularly in higher grades, where only a small number of players can receive drops.

Useful tips

  • At the beginning, you start with 5 Cbasic. Most builds won’t feel meaningful yet—so don’t rush into high-tier fights.
  • Avoid UL / SuperRock early unless you’re extremely confident (the game strongly warns against rushing).
  • Once you reach level 2, focus on farming Common/Unusual Petals. Petals like Absorbing are described as vital for surviving.
  • If you’re comfortable taking risks, consider Stinger—it can one-shot many mobs, but remember that mob health scales quickly.
  • For fast XP farming, people recommend Ant Egg, Dandelion, and Bubble.
    • Dandelion can be harder because its missile behavior may instakill you.
    • Ant Egg can randomly trigger baby-ant events.
  • At level 10, you may need to survive multiple hits because you’ll start facing Epic+ mobs.
  • Get more slots—starting with only 5 slots is usually too limiting.
  • If possible, improve Crafting. Without it, it’s harder to obtain better petals from weaker ones.

  • Around level 30, you’ll likely need to travel to other areas for stronger petals, though the travel time slows as you push toward farm zones. If you’ve maxed your loadout tree, a Bubble build [2] is noted as an option (the guide also suggests you won’t be forced to use it).
  • Be careful: mob scaling outpaces petal scaling. If enemies have much higher health and you can’t one-shot them, adjust your strategy.
  • When dealing with waves, consider petals that can slow targets or reduce how easily mobs engage—examples mentioned include Pincer, Cactus, and Web.
  • Farming locations suggested:
    • Pincer and Cactus from Desert
    • Web and Poo from Sewer
  • If you plan to grind for stronger petals through crafting, get Salvaging. It helps by refunding some progress if crafting fails.
  • Also consider investing in Medic skills (the advice says to get 3), since healing becomes very powerful over time.
  • Warning: don’t automatically max the Crafting tree—the guide states it may not be worth it if you can’t reliably craft Super in the first place.

FAQs

How do I edit?

Look at the top-right of the page for a green “edit” button. Click it to open the editor. If there’s a lock next to it, the page is protected—meaning you can still view the source code but won’t be able to edit.

How do I make a build?

When you create a build, go to the builds hub and choose the category where it fits best. Follow the format shown on that page, then add your build. Don’t post builds at the top (those spots are handled by the build tier list). You also shouldn’t rank your own builds—though you can place your build in “Awaiting Ranking” and rank other players’ builds.

How do I make a fantasy idea?

Click the icon in the top-right that looks like a partially folded paper. This lets you create a new page. Use standard page formatting and include as much detail as possible. Make sure the title begins with “Fantasy Idea -”.

After creating the page, add a category by going to the bottom and selecting “add category”. Use tags like Fantasy Ideas, [Your Name]'s Fantasy Ideas, and either Fantasy Petals or Fantasy Mobs depending on what your idea covers. If it’s neither a petal nor a mob, use Fantasy Exclusions.

How do I make a table?

Open any petal or mob page and switch to the source editor. Alternatively, use “view source” for this page and scroll to the table section.
