User Reviews
Review 1: “I work in IT for a school district. I’ve used Opera on all my Windows machines for longer than my career, mainly because of security and resource drain issues when running in the background. Try running Chrome on a Linux/Windows 2011 ThinkPad—it's a nightmare, and it can even increase idle power draw when you close the laptop. Chrome is built for Chromebooks; Opera is for any PC. That said, Opera Touch on mobile is everything I didn’t know I wanted. Real tab management plus built-in ad blocking on iOS is incredibly convenient. I use a secured Opera account and my iCloud Keychain as my password managers. Opera clearly puts user privacy and security above data collection and targeted ads. Switch to Opera—switch to Opera Touch. Your account sync and browsing data are stored securely for you. Also, seriously, stop using Chrome and consider using DuckDuckGo. Gmail is fine as mail, but it doesn’t hide that user data is used and search patterns are leveraged for targeted ads. This isn’t a conspiracy rant—it’s just how things are in 2019. The internet changes faster than browsers, so it’s time to change too.”
Review 2: “I really like this browser. I’m trying to find the best option for how my mind works and how everything feels. I’ve used Safari, but after a couple hours it has been disappointing in performance. I like Firefox almost as much as Opera products. Opera Touch feels more friendly and faster, and…”
