BADLAND is a side-scrolling action-adventure game that drops you into a stunning forest world. You’ll play as one of its strange inhabitants and push forward through a journey filled with surprises.

You can travel solo or team up with up to three other players. To keep moving, you’ll need to time your jumps, runs, and obstacle navigation with skill—one wrong move can send you back.

The game also includes a built-in level editor. Create and tweak obstacles and gameplay your way, then share your levels with the community to earn likes from other players. BADLAND is optimized for Android TV and PC, and supports using gamepads.

Useful Tips

Pause and Plan

BADLAND moves fast, but you can slow down when needed. Use the slowdown/pause button (default: Spacebar) whenever things get chaotic. Reposition your crew, patch up your truck, and line up your next moves without panic.

Upgrade Your Driver Early

A stronger driver helps you turn tighter, accelerate faster, and crash into walls far less. Upgrade and unlock perks as early as you can to boost handling and maneuvering.

Don’t Skip Support Modules

Stacking weapons is tempting, but support modules matter just as much. Upgrades such as extra cooling, faster reloads, and repair boosts can keep your setup alive during long fights. Even one repair station can make a big difference.

Focus Fire

Enemies won’t always fall quickly—so attack with all weapons on the same target. Tap or click the same enemy repeatedly to remove it fast before it drains your truck’s durability. One fully eliminated enemy is better than several barely damaged ones.

Manage Your Crew Carefully

You only get 8 crew members, so every assignment counts. Put your best characters on key systems—for example, assign your top gunner to the main cannon and your medic to healing stations—and don’t let them wander off.
