As the story expands, you’ll deal with characters from different groups forming a brand-new force, while the safety of a castle city hangs in the balance. Gameplay

You’ll move around using a map. Events are placed across multiple locations—once you reach the right spot, they start automatically. If you get stuck, look for hints, which are designed to point you toward your next goal.

Everything about this game feels positive—except for what matters most in a porn-focused VN: the scenes themselves. The story is engaging and the characters are likable, and thankfully the dialogue writing feels like someone who actually knows how to write. However, in my opinion, the sex scenes are short, basic, and underwhelming. If those scenes were stronger, this could easily be one of the VN’s I’d enjoy most.

My first impression was that it would just be another sandbox “hookup” game. It has stats, romance routes seem limited, and many women fall for the main character with little motivation. But as the story progresses, it becomes much more than that. The writing stands out—the plot holds together, and the twists and reveals practically beg you to replay to catch all the hints and details you missed. The reveals are impressive because the writer doesn’t contradict the audience or play games with the information. From what I understand, the game has been in development for about five years, so some details were likely planted far in advance.

The interactions between the main character and love interests are often heartfelt and fun, and the romance is among the best I’ve seen in an AVN. Still, where the dialogue really shines, the visual renders sometimes feel like they lag behind. The characters…
