BLOOD & GLORY

BLOOD & GLORY is an action game set in ancient Roman gladiator combat. You’ll fight escalating opponents in the arena using easy, responsive controls: swipe to swing your weapon, tap to dodge, and press and hold to block. Expect brutal, bloody clashes, along with detailed, beautiful visuals.

After each victory, you’ll earn rewards you can use to unlock and upgrade weapons and armor that fit the game’s historical theme. Over time, you’ll build your own legendary gladiator. While the combat feel may remind players of Infinity Blade, the game adds deeper tactical combinations and a character growth system—delivering a mobile hack-and-slash experience with smooth controls and an immersive atmosphere.

Storyline

Glu is behind well-known titles such as Gun Bros, Samurai vs. Zombies Defense, Eternity Warriors, and the Contract Killer series. Nearly three years ago, the studio released Blood & Glory: Legend for mobile, aiming to capture the spirit of the blockbuster Infinity Blade.

Even with strong efforts in character design, graphics, and sound, it couldn’t quite surpass the landmark status of Infinity Blade, which led to it being quickly overshadowed. Still, Glu continued the series with a new installment, featuring refreshed gameplay and improved visuals.

Instead of relying on the same old formulas as earlier action games, Blood & Glory shifts into an action role-playing (RPG) style. The story takes place during a period when the Roman Empire is at its peak—Rome grows stronger and becomes a serious challenge to the gods of Mount Olympus.

Zeus, Ares, and Hades worry that Rome’s rise will eventually overthrow them, so they move to remove the threat. In the game, you fight as an elite warrior alongside villagers, pushing back the gods’ mighty armies and helping protect Rome.

Choose Your Fighter

Blood & Glory: Immortals offers three character paths: Gladiator, Warlock, and Barbaress. Each fighter brings distinct combat abilities.

The control layout follows a traditional RPG-friendly setup: a movement button cluster sits on the left, attack/defense controls are on the right, and special skills are also placed on the right side of the screen.

Missions, Battlefields, and Enemies

You can take missions from elders, or jump straight into major battles across three key battlefields: Rome, Crete Islands, and Mount Olympus—the home of the gods. According to Glu, the game includes over 150 missions designed to test your skills.

Enemies are varied and include undead forces, hellhounds, and creatures drawn from Greek legend.

Loot and Progression

Loot is a core part of the experience. Pick up money, valuable items like weapons and armor, and jewels dropped by monsters—or find items in the item box from side areas.

On top of collecting items, the game features a strong weapon and armor upgrade system. You can strengthen character gear using gems, or craft stronger equipment by assembling items you’ve gathered.

The skill system is also expanded for deeper growth. Train your character’s skills to better withstand the aggressive armies of the gods.

Guild System

The game includes a guild feature, allowing you to team up with friends worldwide. Join guild activities, take part in events, and earn valuable rewards.
