Full Patch Notes

Core Gameplay Changes

  • Updated deck-building rules:
    • Deck minimum size increased from 10 → 30.
    • Maximum copies per deck reduced from 4 → 3.
    • Decks are now capped at 100 cards.
    • Old decks that don’t meet the new requirements will still exist in your save, but you won’t be able to equip them.
    • Starting decks were adjusted to comply with the new rules. Existing saves will automatically receive any missing cards needed to match the updated requirements.
  • Hand size increased: Base maximum hand size raised from 7 → 8.
  • Energy values reworked across the board: This includes card costs, recovery, effects, and trash costs.
  • New Energy recovery values: 10 (Base) → 12 (20 Wgt) → 14 (40 Wgt).
  • Energy curve adjustment: The recovery curve was tuned to reduce the advantage of higher Wgt and to speed up gameplay when Wgt is lower.
  • Cards of Gluttony

  • Energy is higher, but costs rise too: For example:
    • “Feed” now costs 1.
    • “Menu for two” now costs 3.
    • Trash cost remains 1, so it becomes much cheaper relative to the updated Energy values.
  • Other gameplay changes:
    • Terminology updates:
      • Manual Discarding was renamed to Trash.
      • The old distinction between (single) and (multi) was removed—now all cards apply Wgt in a single hit.
    • Cards of Gluttony

    • Keywords introduced:
      • Effects like “ignoring Fit” and “One use only” were shortened into keyword form.
      • A UI hint showing a card’s keywords now appears when you hover over a card, or when an opponent uses one.
    • Turn skipping improved: Skipping a turn now draws 3 cards instead of 1, and also grants +1 Fit.
    • Second effect rack added: A separate effect system now exists alongside statuses. It’s used for things like Sugar Rush side effects and Planning Ahead effects.
    • Opponent deck updates: Enemy decks were adjusted to match the new deck-building limits, with some cards removed and others added.
    • Opponent AI tuning:
      • In the early intro portion, opponents play slightly less efficiently.
    • Pub system / crafting loop revamped:
      • Crafting now happens when you eat a massive meal, letting you craft any number of cards at once.
      • The massive meal cost increased from 3 → 4.
      • Eating a massive meal is no longer limited to 40+ Wgt.
    • Glutton’s Zest rewards adjusted:
      • A small meal now guarantees 1 Glutton’s Zest.
      • A massive meal now gives the same base rewards as a big meal: 2 Glutton’s Zest, with a 50% chance to gain one extra.
      • Cards of Gluttony

      • Energy Zest can now be earned by ending the day early without using up all your time—sleeping before night starts.
      • Sleeping in the morning (skipping the entire day) now gives x2 Energy Zest.
      • Sleeping in the evening gives x1 Energy Zest.
      • Advancing time at home now provides a guaranteed x1 Energy Zest.
