General Overview

After being away for a long time, you return to your hometown in search of a fresh start and a stable job. Things quickly get strange: the apartment you rent turns out to be far cheaper than it should be. Before you can settle in, you learn the place is occupied by two mischievous, alluring ghosts. A strange curse keeps them bound to the home—meaning you’ll be stuck with them until that curse is broken.

With the help of a friendly spirit guide, you must investigate the apartment’s secrets, uncover what the ghosts have forgotten, and work toward freeing them.

Storyline & Background

Hollow Memories is a daily-life simulation game. You’ve recently moved back to your hometown to find work. After settling into an apartment that’s suspiciously inexpensive, you discover it’s haunted by a pair of “sexy ghosts.” You can’t leave them behind—at least not yet—because the curse remains in place until it’s resolved.

Using guidance from a small spirit, you’ll search for a way to break the curse. Along the way, you’ll help the ghosts continue forward by filling in their hollow memories.

• “The minigames are super fun. Anomaly Escape is my favorite to grind because it’s the most efficient for memory points. One issue: the dog portrait never showed any anomalies no matter how many times I played it. Also, when Sammy is stuck to the wall, it won’t let you interact with her—I’m not sure if it’s a bug or if it’s not unlocked yet. The same thing happens with Miranda in the shower. The story is interesting too, especially the mysterious spirit. Overall, great game—can’t wait for the next update.”

Spot the Difference requires fixing multiple things for a single point, while Anomaly Escape relies on one button.
