Characters

Asagi

In the prequel/sequel Taimanin Asagi Zero timeline, Asagi carries herself with far more snark, harshness, and aggression—especially toward Yamamoto. Even so, she still has a caring side when her sister is in danger, and she’ll go through hell for her.

Asagi distrusts the government strongly, referring to the Gosha Taimanin as “government dogs.” She prefers hand-to-hand combat, not wanting to spill evil blood on her father’s sword, Akkirokumon. Confident in her own strength, she stays calm during fights—until her father is mentioned, which hits deep because she respects him greatly.

In the main canon, Asagi also shows traces of her more mature self. For example, when the Igawa Estate is left messy due to Sakura, she spends several hours cleaning even though she’s only there briefly for her mission.

Sakura

Sakura has an energetic, upbeat personality. She’s careless about housework and tends to prefer drinks or gaming with friends. As a tomboy who loves the idea of Taimanin heroes of justice, she can be goofy—but she turns serious when combat starts.

At times she’s oblivious, silly, and childish, yet she’s also very forgiving. Overall, Sakura brings cheerful energy wherever she goes and only feels down when she believes she’s a burden to her sister. Her character is close to the original, with similar core traits.

Yamamoto Nobushige

Yamamoto is sharp, calm, and slightly serious, with confidence built from years of experience. He’s excellent at reading both people’s intentions and their abilities—whether they’re allies or enemies. His goal is to help his country stand against demons alongside the Taimanin.

Yatsu Murasaki

Like her original version, Murasaki is deeply in love with Asagi. Her reactions of awe and desire have only intensified. Aside from that, she remains very similar to before, possibly a bit less stern. She may also act a little like a tsundere around people she’s starting to care about.

Koukawa Oboro

Koukawa Oboro carries a lightly teasing, cheerful vibe. She doesn’t directly show Asagi that she’s worried, but she genuinely cares about Asagi’s success. She may work behind the scenes, and though it can look questionable at first, she does it to help others in the end.

In bad endings, she tries to save Asagi and Sakura by herself—regretting everything when she arrives too late, and left with only the mercy option.
