Developer Notes

Quick development update: work on my day job has brought development speed down a bit, but I’m still pushing things forward. I’ve also been spending some time on a Discord bot as a side project—less “rendering time,” more a nice change of pace, even if it takes a little effort.

Now for the exciting part: I added a new scene to the game completely out of nowhere. I woke up about a week ago with the urge to write it, and it fits surprisingly well into the story—so I couldn’t ignore it. It’s not massive, but I think it will leave an impact, and I’m happy with how it turned out so far. I hope you’ll enjoy it too!

One issue I’m dealing with right now: for some reason, the characters look like they’ve been “grinding” loyalty points at a tanning place nonstop for a year. I’m not sure what changed or whether it was like that from the start—but I’ll figure it out eventually (hopefully before anything turns into a horror show… you know, the serial-killer kind). I can’t have everyone suddenly on a shared tanning subscription—some streaming service definitely wouldn’t be thrilled about sharing accounts. :D
